What I have been up to the last week...

Hello everyone,
As I am sure you will all be aware, it has just been Christmas (no, really it has!) and I had originally wanted to put this up on Christmas eve, and I wrote most of it then but the Internet kept on being weird and so I couldn't do it :(

Anyway I thought I would share with you a bit of what I have been up to for the last week or so!
Firstly here are some photos I took when we went out to get our Christmas tree! We always go to a Christmas tree farm which is near us and actually cut down the tree ourselves instead of buying one from a shop! I really like doing it because there are so many to choose from and it is more fun actually cutting down the tree with a saw!

here is what it looked like when we got it inside and before we decorated it!

and here is a short video of us decorating it! Sorry it's not very good but I was testing out an app on my iPod!

I have my Christmas socks on, oh yeaaah ;)

As part of my Christmas present from my parents, my Mum took me to go and see Rihanna on the 22nd in the O2. It was really good and was such a great experience as I had never been to a really big gig like this before!
Here are some of the photos that I took whilst I was there

We saw the coca-cola lorry!

Rihanna's support act was Calvin Harris, and he was really good aswell!

I hope you all had a really lovely Christmas and you got everything that you wished for

Thankyou for reading this and have a lovely day

DIY Rouldouph candycanes!

Hello everyone,
I saw the idea to do this on the Internet yesterday, and so I really wanted to make these as small gifts for my friends and family! They cost next to nothing to make and they are really fun to do!

This is what they will look like when they are done!

Here is what you will need...

You will also need scissors and something to make a spiral

First get a candy cane and a piece of pipe cleaner.

Wrap it around and then twist it at the bottom.

After that bring the two ends up to the top.

Use something with a thin bit on the end to wrap the pipe cleaner ends around

Once they are wrapped around they will stay in place. you can then pull them out slightly so the curls aren't as tight.

Next cut out a circle from foam. Alternatively you could use a small red pompom.

Next put some glue on the back. This is probably too much because you don't want to be able to see it.

After this use a small amount of glue to stick on the eyes.

And then you are done! You can make lots of them, and use different coloured candy canes, antlers and different sizes of eyes to create ones with a different personality!

Oh and you you like my nails? I love them!

You can see how I did them here:

Top stocking fillers under £5!

Hello everyone,
I really wanted to do a post today with my top stocking fillers in it. These could be things that you could either put into somebody's stocking, or if you have to do a secret Santa or if you want to give somebody something but don't want to spend much on them.

First is these absolutely lovely bracelets from Lily loves Lola.

The lovely Victoria who owns Lily love Lola really kindly sent these to me. I had been meaning to buy some bracelets off of her for ageees, but for some reason I had never got round to it. I absolutely love the owl charm, and I am wearing it now!

They are so affordable (most of them are £2), and they come really nicely packaged, and I will definitely be buying more in the new year! Please check out her shop to see more of her charm bracelets! She also knits scarves and makes earrings too which are all sold in her blog which are all lovely as well.
Victoria also has a really nice blog which I enjoy reading. You can visit her blog by clicking here.

The next thing is the Heaven and Earth pallet from MUA. You can buy these in Superdrug, or you can now buy them online. At the moment if you spend over £8, you get a free immaculate palette worth £8 with 24 gorgeous shades in it, bargain!

Next is another thing from MUA. This time it is their lipsticks. Because they are only £1, you could get a couple. They have so many different shades (as you can see, I have quite a few of them!). They are really moisturising and most of the colours are really well pigmented!

These are some of my favourite shades.

Next is a magazine. They only cost a couple of pounds, and I know most people will enjoy reading them! Quite a few of them come with free things. This one came with a free Nails inc. nail varnish worth £11, and the magazine was only £2! Bargain!

Next is some Christmas socks. I love wearing socks, and if I am inside, I am never without a pair. I like these ones because they were only £2 in Primark, and they are really cute! I love how the Rodolph's have a sparkly nose too!

Next up is a cute pair of earrings. I got these ones for my birthday, so I'm sorry I don't know the price, but I think that they are from New Look.

The next thing is St Moritz fake tan. I use this fake tan throughout the summer and I love it! For me the only difference from St Tropez, (except the price tag) is that St Moritz can have a slight biscuitish smell to it after, but this isn't too noticeable!

Next is some wintry shades of nail varnish. These are both by Barry M, and they are some of my favourite shades for winter. Apart from OPI (obviously), my favourite brand for nail varnish would have to be Barry M. This is because they have a wide range of colours, they are very affordable and they have a really smooth, creamy consistency.

The next thing is these really soft, and amazing mittens from Primark. I got these last weekend and they have helped keep my hands so warm when I have been walking to the train station at 8am this last week! I also love that they were only £3, and they had a couple of other neutral shades to choose from.

And finally is this mirror from Cath Kidston which I got this around two years ago I think. They have changed the design recently into a rectangle, but I use this mirror every single day, it has been chucked in and out of my makeup bag and there is hardly a scratch to show for it! I also only paid £2 for it!
