Easter nails

Hello everyone,I firstly want to say, sorry for bombarding you with nail posts recently (here and here), but a couple of weeks ago I was asked by Collection 2000 (or Collection as they will soon be known) to create my own easter egg inspired nail art. This is the design that I came up with!

The colours which I used to create this look were:
Collection 2000: Cloud nine
                             Hoola hoop
                             BMX Bandit
                             Liquorice
                             Ice Cube
Natural Collection: Antique Corral
Rimmel London: Sky high
                            Misty jade
                            Sunshine
I think that this is a very versatile design, and you could change the colours/pattern to create a look toe match whatever you are wearing! I will definitely be painting my nails to look similar to this for Easter day (which it 8th April in case you were wondering!)
I used these nail art tools from eBay to do the detailing. They are so useful if you are into nail art, because some of the ends are really fine, and so it's easy to get a clear, crisp line and you have more control over them than you do with a tiny paintbrush.

Thankyou for reading this and have a lovely day

Ladybird ladybird, fly away home...

Hello everyone,
I painted this on my nails yesterday, and I thought it looked so lovely that I just had to share it with you!

I used technic's Carnival and Rimmel's Misty Jade (which I mentioned in my last post)
While I was taking my photos a little ladybird came along and it was so cute I just had to take some photos of it!
I am really loving having glittery nails at the moment, if you hadn't guessed from my last post! If you have any recommendations for glitter nail varnishes, please let me know!
Oh and I've heard rumors about the GOSH holographic nail varnish being re-released, I'm DYING to get my hands on it, it's gorgeous!

NOTD- Rimmel Disco Ball and Black Cab

Hello everyone,
I bought both of these nail varnishes on Wednesday, and because we aren't allowed to wear nail varnish to school I have been waiting patiently very impatiently until I got home today to paint my nails with them! (I'm sad, I know)
The colours which I used were Rimmel's Black Cab and Disco Ball.
As the name suggests, Disco Ball is very shimmery and glittery. There is some slight variation with the sizes of the glitter chunks, but they are all fairly fine pieces.
(I know it's out of focus but I just wanted to show the glitter)
As you can see, Disco Ball is very glittery and reflective. I only had to do two coats of it on my nails for it to be very glittery, which is much fewer than I was expecting from my past experiences! The polish itself is clear, but it is very glittery with pieces of mainly silver, but also blue and purple pieces in it. As I said above the glitter is all small pieces, but there is a slight variation with the sizes of them. I can't comment on it's staying power because I have only had it on half an hour, but each coat dried very quickly which I was also shocked at!
As you can see, this one isn't nearly as exciting as Disco Ball, but because I had almost run out of my black one from OPI, I needed to get myself another black nail polish! The name is Black Cab, which I think is really cute considering Rimmel is a brand from London. It took two coats to become completely opaque but it was really creamy and glossy after two coats.
They are currently on offer for 3 for 2 in Tesco which is where I got mine (I also got Misty Jade which I haven't tried out yet) and I believe they were around £2.50 each, so I got all three for a fiver which is really good!

I am really enjoying them so far, I can't wait to wear the Misty Jade and buy some more Rimmel polishes. I already have a few other colours, but I really want to try out Rimmel's Hot & Spicy, which is a bight red/pink/orange colour which I think would be great for summer!
